Itinerary

Day hike generally used for those who look for acclimatize previous to depart for a trekking or a climbing tour. After the breakafast we pick up from the hotel and we depart for Pashpa village 3600m, place where we get in 1 hour, from there we start to walk up to Laguna Uruscocha, the footpath runs among a forest of Quenual and Quisuar trees typical of the Cordillera Blanca, the lakes are located below Urus mountain 5450m, we get to the first lake in around 3 hours, a small but beautiful lake from there we have a nice view of the Cordillera Blanca (black mountain range); after to walk 10 minutes more we get to the second lake, lake that is located at the middle of trees, is really exotic!. After to take the photos, had lunch and rested we return for the same footpath that we went up, we return to Pashpa where we take the van to return in Huaraz city around 4:00 Pm.
